Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, and protect your information.
Last Updated: May 2026
1. Information We Collect
When you register for CloudFireman, we collect your email address, name, and encrypted password. During your use of the service, we temporarily log connection metadata such as IP addresses, connection times, bandwidth usage, and request counts for quota enforcement and security purposes.
2. Traffic Data and Inspection
CloudFireman is a zero-trust tunneling service. We do not inspect, log, or store the payload of your HTTP/TCP traffic on our servers. All traffic inspection happens entirely locally on your machine via the Inspector interface (`http://127.0.0.1:4040`).
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information exclusively to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the tunneling service.
- Enforce quota limits (bandwidth and request counts).
- Prevent abuse and illegal activities.
- Process payments for Premium subscriptions (via proxyfactory.io).
4. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties, except for trusted payment processors required to handle Premium subscription billing.
5. Data Security
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. Your traffic is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS encryption at our edge nodes before being forwarded to your local machine.
6. Contact Us
If you have any questions regarding this privacy policy, you may contact us using the Contact Us page or by emailing support@cloudfireman.com.
